ABCDEFG! #^F(*(G^^(() @#^G*&*(*()BVW$(%&#$ my apology.... allow me to explain my daddy returned today, he rang us at approximately 5pm saying that he was at Harbour front and will be travelling back to Woodlands (which roughly requires about an hour or so) sis and i thought of reaching cwp earlier to walk around and buy bbt, so we were waiting for our turtle/snail/(anything that moves incredibly slow) 912. waiting . . . . . . . . . . . . . still patiently waiting . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . erm, bored already. after we killed the time like this, 912 still havent arrive leh............... it only came willingly 50minutes later. 50 leh, FIVE ZERO minutes you know. insane. so met daddy, had dinner etc. sis left for her gathering, daddy and i once again waited for 912 at the interchange. waiting . . . . . . . . . . . . still waiting patiently . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . the aunties beside started to complain, eventually turned into their chatting session HAHA . . . . . . . . . . . . . . at that point of time, IM SWEARING DEEP DOWN IN MY HEART ALREADY...... tho this time round the waiting time was 30minutes, but it was nothing better loh. RIGHT? this kind of situation is not the first time, and i always assure my friends or sis that im gonna complain! to the driver or company or whatever. in the end........ hahaha.... you know.... well...... ya.... LOL! yesterday was the SPA SEA training(they claimed so) my cliques, only veron and jt went along with me. doreen couldnt make it at the very last minute, and i think i've guessed correctly for the reason behind. it's okay doreen, join us next week! :) everyone gathered at Clementi mrt station, 10am bused and walked a lil further to reach Poly Marina. deposited our belongings and report for a short briefing. we were then divided into 2 groups as there were quite a number of people, say... 30plus? did some mass warm up(includes alot alot of pumpings, jumping jets, head+arms+hip+legs rotation) next, kayaking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! before that, willard led us slowly down the slope and into the water meaning, submerging ourselves and get wet. this part was quite funny, everyone was wearing a life vest(not life jacket), so you'll stay afloat no matter what. but i've no idea why my legs will automatically float. it was like, i'll literally appear horizontal on the surface of the water either facing upwards or downwards. looked really dumb man :S proceed on, we kayak-ed for another 4hours(?!) basically did forward+backward pedalling, J jaw, the big sweep? etc. here comes the crazy part, CAPSIZE. we need to practically capsize and train ourselves to handle capsize situations quickly, safely, calmly, and correctly. 1. check for in-coming traffic(any other boats or kayaks around you) 2. check for a 3metre radius around your kayak(sufficient space) 3. check for the depth of the water(to gauge, pedal should be roughly 3/4 in the water) then........ rock very very hard to the left and right and CAPSIZE to the side where you hold your pedal parallel to your kayak. not done yet! A. when you are upside down in the water, tap the bottom of the kayak 3 times B. and come out to the surface from the side where you hold your pedal C. raise your pedal high up and shout "help", "safe me" of cos, in the event of a real capsize you need not have to tap 3 times as that's only for training purposes and you wont have time for that. in fact, you might not even remember that step. lol most importantly, never leave your kayak and lose your pedal. wah.... i describe till very pro right? when it was my turn, disaster man. everything else was fine until the moment i, together with my kayak, we overturned. the sea water instantly gushed into my nostrils you know! but then i wanna show off and do the 3 taps nicely, so i bear with it in the end, i frantically cum haggardly swim out of the water not to even mention about my pedal, it was drifted far far away already............ hahahahahahahahaha latterly, the LAND training. wth, we were half dead from the water they now ask us to do fitness. fine... in summation, moved the very heavy kayak to and fro for alot of times. running running and running. and also majority of what we've done previously during mass warm up. we became undescribably filthy. having to lie on the grass patches while sweating profusely, having to lie on sands(playground) while we were completely drenched, resulted to it. sounds scary isnt it? however, at the end of the day, it'll mould you into a better person IF what you wanna achieve are discipline, team spirit, perserverance, fitness and health. you might think im pervert, cos im actually deciding to attend the next session. ;) FYI, they didnt inform us that there wasnt any lunch breaks so we virtually starved from 10am till 8pm. in conclusion, a tough but enjoyable day. after which, they were heading for meal at Clementi area, veron and i travelled home instead cos she vomitted out of a sudden, and my mom rang and yelled at me. LOL wow, a lengthy post. alright last part now... jt went for the dinner with them, thus, some moment ago we were chatting on MSN and i was simply trying to question him about the meal:
