OMG, I'VE SURVIVED no, WE'VE survived :) after that one week promotion at White Sands, IORA is still urgently in need of part time staffs at other outlets so, both doreen and i agreed to work 3days per week; fri sat sun as there could only be one temp staff in each outlet, we didnt have the opportunity to work at the same place like before doreen was distributed to the one at Tampines, mine was at Wisma i am fortunate enough to have friendly and nice colleagues all along just that sometimes, some of them kind of bully me. haha over there at White Sands, the in-charge named Ah You(haha!) used to instruct me/us to do many many many many shitty things which most of the time annoyed me for example: on the first day, i was asked to buy 12bottles of mineral water from NTUC at B1 those 1.5l okay so i bought 1 carton and carried it like a coolie, took escalator, reached the atrium and he told me i bought the wrong one. GREAT on the second day, i was asked to change the 200$ notes into 100$ of 2$ notes and 100$ of 1$ coins(tongue twister?) at the OCBC bank beside nvm, i'll do it. BUT! as i queued up, there were approximately 20plus people in front of me T.T in additon, i was asked to take order from all the staffs(as in what they wanna eat for their lunch) wah i tell you, it was really VERY VERY DIFFICULT, HEN NAN HEN NAN why? let me tell you. everyone was allowed to choose what they want to have from the roasted chicken stall and the cai fan stall only to save the trouble of me queueing for many stalls and wasting alot of time i guess but ultimately there were still troubles encountered and resulting more time wasted doreen and i ordered roasted chicken rice but doreen wanted the chicken breast part okay.. noted. subsequently, more "cute" orders came up.. 1 shao rou fan; more rou more rice, 1 cha shao+shao rou fan, 1 shao ji fan+egg+sauce, 1 shao ji fan; chicken backside, 1 shao ji+bai ji fan for cai fan stall: 1 vege+gu lao rou+egg, 1 vege+fish+tou fu, 1 vege+chicken steak not only these 3 pepsi+ice, 2 pears, 4 watermelons, 1 green apple must put sour plum powder, 1 pineapple must put salt wow, isnt it interesting? i jotted down all in a piece of paper, make sure that nothing goes wrong in the end, i made a major mistake by not listing down each of the price of the items in that paper which no one reminded nor instructed me to do so crazy loh, tell me how la? how to calculate the food when you want shao rou fan more rou more fan?! the only solution was to go back to the stalls and asked for the price one order by one order zzz i thought i had given them such trouble and they would not dare to ask me to take anymore order dream on! for the rest of the week, im in charge of it...... what else? throw rubbish, bring customer to the boutique for NETS payment, change money, take order..... cycle goes on. alright, besides all these they were still nice people btw, noticed our very happening hair style? all the staffs there need to do some hair grooming before work i've counted the most number of pins used on my hair was 18, haha! enough of my complains, if you are interested can always pm me. it's obvious that they are frantically in search of part time staffs because they ring us up almost everyday, hoping that we could turn up and work one more day for them recently, they are getting from bad to worse on sunday after work, they called up and asked me to work on mon cos they have insufficient part time staff unwillingly i agreed even tho im really wearing out mon after work they rang up again, brought up the same request definitely i replied no, lying that im having a date with family on tues hope this works however, they still suggested to me that perhaps i could push the date to wed EXCUSE ME, if that's for real, how can i give up on my family because of work? moreover, if i really agreed to work for them once again they will confirm ask me to work for them again and again and again and again right? might as well ask me to work for the whole week so i persisted and say a big NO, succeeded ;) few mins ago, i received 2 missed calls from them AGAIN arghhhhhhhhhhh, helppppppppppp~ some info for peeps who are interested: 5$/hour, uniform provided required to hang and distribute and iron clothes hair to be styled by them(nicely) working time normally 6 to 8 hours most importantly, only ladies needed :D oh oh, remembered i saw Terence Cao and Evelyn Tan while working at Robinsons? this time round i saw Zeng Shi Mei and a guy called Max in the drama Living With Lydia know who ma? ok, i've got to stop talking about my job it'll be endless, HAHAHA today i got myself a debit card in the morning next, a feast at Jack's place with sis and meow!!! hohoho since the last time i stepped into Jack's place with da ge, (supposingly a treat from her but ended up paying extra 10$ and suffered from bloated stomach with bloody beef steak) i had the phobia to dine at the restaurant again until today, i enjoyed the true good stuff there :) WAHAHAHAHA, envy not? :D hmm, coming thursday is the O level results release day woo~ the tension is on. |
